Cheese, chicken and pineapples are a seemingly strange trio of products, but what wonderful-looking and rich-tasting salads are made from it! Thanks to proven recipes, they perfectly balance the proportions of sweet and salty, and the ingredients perfectly combine and complement each other in texture.
Delicate salad with cheese, chicken and pineapple
Ingredients:
- 200 g of hard cheese;
- 300 g chicken breast fillet;
- 200 g of canned pineapples (without syrup);
- 100 g of walnuts;
- 4 feathers of green onions;
For refueling:
- 1 cup of natural yogurt (125 g);
- 1 cucumber;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- 1/3 tsp ground white pepper;
- 1/2 tsp salt.
Pour water into a medium saucepan and heat over high heat. As soon as the liquid boils, dip the chicken fillet in it and cook at medium temperature, covered for 25 minutes. Transfer the white meat to a colander and let the rest of the broth drain, then chop finely. Cut pineapples and cheese into small cubes.
Make the sauce. To do this, chop a cucumber, peel and crush a garlic clove in a special press. Stir prepared vegetables with yogurt, pepper and salt. Crush the walnuts coarsely in a mortar, coffee grinder, or just a mashed potato crush. Combine all salad ingredients in one bowl, season with yoghurt mixture, mix well and sprinkle with green onion rings.
Puff salad with cheese, chicken and pineapple
Ingredients:
- 100 g of hard unsweetened cheese;
- 1 large chicken leg or 2 thighs;
- 1 can of canned pineapple slices;
- 1 can of canned corn;
- 3 chicken eggs;
- 75 g sour cream;
- 75 g of mayonnaise;
- 20 g of dill.
Cook the leg until tender and cool. Separate the meat from the bones and cut or shred with your fingers. Cook hard-boiled eggs on the adjacent burner, cover with ice water, remove the shell and rub with a fork. Drain liquid from canned food. Combine sour cream and mayonnaise. Assemble the lettuce in layers, stacking them in the following order and spreading thinly but evenly with the prepared sauce: chicken, corn, pineapple, boiled eggs and grated cheese. Sprinkle the chopped dill over the snack.
Salad with cheese, smoked chicken and pineapple
Ingredients:
- 250 g of hard cheese;
- 800 g of boiled-smoked chicken breast;
- 200 g of canned pineapples;
- 50 g of pine nuts;
- 2 stalks of celery;
- 3 green lettuce leaves;
- 100 g of mayonnaise or sour cream;
- salt.
Cut the smoked breast, cheese and celery stalks into strips. Tear lettuce leaves with your hands or chop with a knife. Mix everything, add pine nuts and pineapples, mayonnaise or sour cream. Stir the salad thoroughly to distribute the ingredients correctly and add salt to taste.
