It is necessary

  • - fresh or frozen pollock - 2 pcs. (500 g);
  • - sour cream - 200 ml;
  • - garlic - 4 cloves;
  • - fresh dill - 1 bunch;
  • - lemon - 1 pc.;
  • - turmeric - 0.5 tsp;
  • - sunflower oil;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt;
  • - frying pan.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel carcasses of fresh pollock from entrails, remove tails and heads. Then rinse the fish thoroughly under running water and pat dry with paper towels. If the pollock is frozen, then it will need to be defrosted first.

Step 2

Then cut the fish into several pieces. In a separate small plate, combine ground black pepper and salt and rub each piece on all sides with it.

Step 3

Pour a little sunflower oil into the pan, heat it well, and then place the fish pieces and fry them on both sides until a slight blush appears.

Step 4

Meanwhile, while the pollock is roasting, peel the garlic cloves and crush them through a press. Transfer the sour cream to a bowl and add the garlic to it. Finely chop the dill greens with a knife and add to the sour cream and garlic mass. Add a few pinches of salt, black pepper and turmeric, then mix well.

Step 5

When the sauce is ready, pour it over the fish in the skillet, stir gently so that each piece is under the sauce. And then reduce the temperature to a minimum and simmer under a closed lid for 20 minutes.

Step 6

When the dish is ready, squeeze the juice out of the lemon and pour it over the fish. Serve pollock with sour cream and garlic sauce along with fresh vegetable salad. Also, if you wish, you can offer it a potato or rice side dish.
