It is so accepted that fish is eaten much less often than any type of meat, however, fish contains more nutrients. Trout, salmon and salmon are good for salting red fish. It is especially delicious to eat lightly salted red fish on a slice of bread and butter.
It is necessary
-
- Red fish
- salt
- sugar
- bay leaf, peppercorns
- clean towel
- paper towels
- container.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a red fish, cut off the head, clean from the entrails. If desired, you can peel off the scales. Rinse the fish under cold water, drain the water (you can put it on a paper towel)
Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix salt and sugar (in a 2: 1 ratio). And rub the fish well inside and out. Add bay leaves and peppercorns. The cleaned fish must be salted without removing the skin.
Step 3
Take a little salt (about 1 tablespoon) and sprinkle on a clean towel. Lay the fish on top and wrap it tightly (swaddle). Wrap the top in paper towels or newspaper.
Step 4
Prepare a container that is the right size for the fish. Put fish in this dish and refrigerate.
Step 5
Remember to turn the fish twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, while replacing wet paper towels with new ones. You do not need to touch the fabric.
Step 6
Salt the fish in this way for three days. After this period of time, unwind the fish, remove the pepper and bay leaf. Fresh and lightly salted fish is ready!
Step 7
Red fish sandwiches are a great appetizer for the festive table! Good luck and bon appetit!
