Red bell peppers can be cooked in a honey marinade. The preparation does not require many ingredients, it is stored for a long time in a cold place, and honey gives the pepper an original taste.

It is necessary

  • –Bulgarian pepper of red or orange color (1.5 kg);
  • –Acetic 9% (70 ml);
  • –Salt (10 g);
  • - herbal honey (60 ml).

Instructions

Step 1

For this recipe, you need to use pulpy bell peppers. Start by rinsing all peppers well, removing any visible dirt. Next, cut off the stalk of each pepper, divide it into two parts and remove the seeds from the inside.

Step 2

Chop the prepared peppers in any shape with a sharp knife. At the same time, avoid small pieces that can be boiled during cooking.

Step 3

Start preparing the marinade. To do this, combine all the necessary ingredients. Remember to mix thoroughly and wait until the honey is completely dissolved. Initially, salt the marinade a little, and after 20 minutes add more salt to taste.

Step 4

Put clean and chopped peppers into a saucepan, pour in the marinade and stir. Place the pot on the hotplate and cook the peppers, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes. Juice will start to come out of the pepper during cooking. When the pepper in the marinade is ready, turn off the stove and leave the workpiece for a while.

Step 5

Prepare clean jars. To do this, it is enough to sterilize the cans and lids in any convenient way. Fill the jars with the blank and fill to the brim with the marinade. Roll up the lids, then place under a warm blanket to cool.
