This incredibly tasty and very appetizing snack made from pita bread and canned fish is prepared surprisingly simply and quickly. It is best to cook such a roll with sardine, saury or pink salmon, but you can use other fish to your taste.
It is necessary
- 3 thin pita bread;
- 1 can of canned fish;
- 3 chicken eggs;
- 200 g of hard cheese;
- 300 g mayonnaise;
- a small bunch of dill greens.
Instructions
Step 1
The first step is to prepare the eggs. They need to be dipped in a saucepan of water and cooked on a hot stove. In order for the eggs to be hard-boiled, they need to boil for 8-10 minutes. Then they are removed from the saucepan and dipped in a container of cold water. As soon as the eggs have cooled, the shells should be removed from them and grated.
Step 2
Open the canned fish and try to remove almost all the liquid. Then it should be chopped using a simple fork. In this case, it is necessary that the pieces are small. The cheese should also be chopped using a coarse grater.
Step 3
Put the required amount of mayonnaise in a sufficiently deep cup (you can use both purchased and homemade). Then you need to thoroughly rinse the dill, wait until the water drains and chop it finely with a sharp knife. Mix mayonnaise and dill thoroughly.
Step 4
Place 1 pita bread on the table. Its surface should be covered with an even layer of dill and mayonnaise sauce (use a third of the sauce).
Step 5
Then place the chopped fish over the mayonnaise. Try to distribute the fish evenly over the entire surface of the pita bread.
Step 6
On top of the first pita bread, carefully lay the second. Its surface must also be coated with sauce, while using ½ part of the remaining mass. After that, sprinkle the pita bread evenly with chopped eggs.
Step 7
Put the third pita bread on the first two and also thoroughly coat the entire surface with the remaining sauce. Sprinkle with chopped cheese on top.
Gently, without rushing, roll the pita bread into one tight roll (press down while folding).
Step 8
The finished roll must be refrigerated for at least 3 hours. Then it will remain to be cut into portioned pieces.
