  • • Canned fish, for example, sardine in oil - 1 pc.;
  • • Ready mashed potatoes, finely chopped boiled eggs or boiled rice for the filling;
  • • Onions or green onions;
  • • 0.5 tsp. soda slaked with vinegar;
  • • Salt and pepper to taste;
  • • A little butter to grease the mold.

Step 1

A distinctive feature of unsweetened liquid pie is batter. To prepare it, you need to mix kefir with soda and salt slaked with vinegar. Add eggs, vegetable oil and beat well.

Step 2

Pour flour into the mixture in a thin stream - so much that the dough looks like thick sour cream in consistency.

Step 3

After preparing the dough, you need to make the filling. To do this, cut the onion, mix mashed potatoes with black or red pepper (to taste).

Step 4

Drain the liquid from the canned food, mash the fish with a fork.

Step 5

Lubricate the pan with butter. It is better to take a fairly deep square or rectangular shape with thin walls.

Step 6

Pour just over half of the batter into the mold. Place the filling directly on top of the dough. You can first distribute mashed potatoes (or sliced eggs, rice), then onions and canned fish.

Step 7

Pour the remaining dough over the filling so that the mixture completely covers the fish. It is most convenient to pour the dough with a tablespoon.

Step 8

Place the pan in a preheated oven and bake the cake at 180 degrees. It takes about 45 minutes to keep the dish in the oven, check the readiness with a toothpick or a match. As soon as the cake is browned on top, and the toothpick is dry, without sticking dough, you can turn it off.
