Orange caramel is very often used to decorate all kinds of cakes, but you can also eat it just like that, with tea. Any kid will like this delicacy.

Step 1
So, as everyone probably already guessed, we will make caramel from the zest of oranges. Therefore, the first step is to peel it with oranges in strips 4-5 centimeters long. Then cut into thin strips.

With oranges, you need to do it simply: squeeze the juice out of them.

Then we take a small saucepan, into which freshly squeezed orange juice, chopped zest and sugar should be sent.
Step 4
We put the saucepan on the stove and bring the mixture to a boil using high heat. After it boils, you should reduce the heat and boil, stirring constantly. This should be done until the orange caramel has a golden color. This usually takes about an hour. After all the procedures, we let our dessert cool down. And when the caramel cools down, you can safely use it to decorate cakes or just drink tea with it.
