It is very easy to bake chicken in foil in the oven, you do not need to have any special cooking skills for this. All that is required for the chicken to turn out juicy, soft and tasty is to prepare a special marinade and hold the chicken carcass in it before baking.
It is necessary
- - one chicken carcass;
- - two lemons;
- - a teaspoon of a mixture of peppers;
- - five tablespoons of mayonnaise (can be replaced with sour cream);
- - three to four cloves of garlic;
- - two tablespoons of chicken seasoning;
- - salt (to taste).
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the chicken in cold water, pluck the remaining feathers, if necessary. Place the chicken in a colander or sieve to drain all the water, then place it in a deep bowl (the bowl should not be too wide, it is advisable to choose one that fits the chicken perfectly in diameter).
Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine the juice of two lemons, seasoning, pepper, salt, mayonnaise, peel the garlic and pass through a press, add it to the rest of the ingredients and mix everything thoroughly. After the marinade is ready, spread it over the whole chicken (inside too), put the carcass in a bowl breast-side down and pour the remaining marinade over the chicken (it is very important that the marinade covers the chicken by half or more, in this case the carcass will marinate better).
Step 3
Put a bowl of chicken in the refrigerator for four to five hours, after two or three, turn the chicken breast-side up and leave to marinate further.
Step 4
Lubricate a baking sheet with vegetable oil, place the chicken breast up on top of it, and cover the carcass with foil on top, trying to press the foil as tightly as possible against the sides of the baking sheet so that air does not leak to the chicken (this will help the meat not only bake faster, but also stay juicy).
Step 5
Place the baking sheet with chicken in the oven preheated to 180-190 degrees, bake the dish for at least 50 minutes. After a while, remove the baking sheet from the oven, but do not remove the foil for another 15-20 minutes, but let the meat cool slightly. Remove the foil and transfer the chicken to a flat, wide plate. The dish is ready.
