Chicken thighs are one of the most affordable types of meat. In addition to being incredibly tasty, they also have many other virtues. For example, compared to the same breast, thighs are always much juicier, no matter how you cook them. And there are a lot of such methods: the thighs can be fried, stewed, boiled. And also, through a variety of marinades and spices, radically change the taste of dishes. One successful method is to bake the thighs in the oven with foil. The process is so simple that novice hostesses will certainly be able to cope with it. And the result will delight even the most fastidious gourmets.
It is necessary
- - chicken thighs - 6 pcs.;
- - garlic - 6 cloves;
- - hot mustard - 2/3 tbsp. l.;
- - soy sauce - 3 tbsp. l.;
- - vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l.;
- - curry (optional) - 1, 5 tsp;
- - red hot pepper - 1 pinch;
- - ground black pepper;
- - salt;
- - foil;
- - a baking dish or baking sheet.
Instructions
Step 1
Let's start with the thigh marinade. Take a large bowl with mustard, soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oil, and curry (optional). Peel the garlic cloves and crush through a press or grate. Then add them to the bowl and mix everything together to get a homogeneous mass.
Step 2
Rinse chicken thighs under running water and pat dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of salt, black ground pepper (to taste) and a pinch of red hot pepper (you can without it). Stir the spices and rub each thigh on both sides with the resulting mixture.
Step 3
After that, place the thighs in a bowl and mix thoroughly so that each piece of meat is covered with a mustard marinade. Now cover the bowl with cling film and leave for 30-40 minutes. Clarification: the longer the chicken is marinated, the more aromatic it will be and the richer the taste. Therefore, if you have time, you can leave it in the bowl for several hours, as well as overnight, after putting it in the refrigerator.
Step 4
When the time is up, turn on the oven and set the temperature to 200 degrees. While it is warming up, take the foil and fold it 2-3 times. Then place the marinated chicken thighs and drizzle with the remaining 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Step 5
Wrap the foil carefully so that no holes or gaps remain. Place the resulting piece in a baking dish or baking sheet and place in the oven for 40 minutes.
Step 6
After the time has elapsed, remove the baking sheet, unfold the foil on top or tear gently. Continue baking the thighs until a beautiful golden crust appears, about 15 minutes.
Step 7
Place the finished food on plates or place on a large dish. Serve hot along with your favorite side dish - boiled rice, pasta or potatoes, be sure to water it with the resulting delicious foil juice.
