It was only in the fourteenth century that dumplings appeared in Russia, and since then they can be called a Russian national dish. Dumplings can be found everywhere - at home, in a restaurant, and in the kitchen of friends. Dumplings made with your own hands are especially tasty in your cozy kitchen. - 500 gr. flour,
- 2 eggs,
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 glass of water
- 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a deep bowl or bowl. Sift the flour through a sieve (so that the flour is saturated with oxygen) directly into this bowl.
Step 2
Make a depression in the middle and gently break 2 eggs. Carefully pour water there, salt. Add 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
Step 3
Begin to gradually collect the flour from all sides so that the water does not spill out. In this way, start kneading the dough. Sift the flour on the table and lay out the dough, continue kneading until the desired consistency (it should not be very dense).
Step 4
Leave the dough on the table for 20 minutes, cover with a soft cloth or plastic bag. The gluten will disperse and the dough will become soft. Knead the dough again and you can start sculpting delicious, homemade dumplings.
Step 5
To do this, cut a piece of dough from which to make a long tourniquet. Cut this rope into small pieces. Roll each piece in flour, roll out, put the filling and make a dumpling.
