Instructions
Step 1
Freeze almost any vegetables. Even potatoes prepared in a certain way will not lose their properties after being in the freezer. Greens will also keep well at sub-zero temperatures.
Step 2
Those who have ever tried frozen potatoes know that they become sweetish in taste. This does not apply to a properly prepared vegetable. Rinse the root vegetables, pat dry on a towel. Cut into strips and put it back on the fabric to absorb excess liquid, but not for long. Otherwise, the slices will start to darken. Place the prepared potatoes in a plastic bag and place them in the freezer.
Step 3
Place cauliflower and broccoli there. First, disassemble into inflorescences, and then arrange in bags and put in the freezer. Here, white cabbage is not stored in this way, as it will become soft.
Step 4
Freeze the carrots. Wash it, peel it, cut it into circles, strips or cubes. When it's time to cook the first, do the second, then you put the already prepared carrots in them.
Step 5
Peppers also keep well at sub-zero temperatures. Remove the seed capsule with the stalk from clean vegetables. To do this, use a small knife to make a circular cut in the pulp near the "tail" and pull on it. Rinse the peppers, especially thoroughly inside, to remove any remaining seeds. Cut it into strips or squares, or leave the vegetable whole so that you can take it out and fill it with vegetables and rice if necessary. You can stuff the pepper first and then freeze it.
Step 6
Send some white cabbage for storage at subzero temperatures, after making cabbage rolls. This is how the cabbage is frozen.
Step 7
Green peas, corn will not lose their juicy color and shape after freezing. Break the blades in half and take out the peas. Separate the corn kernels from the ripe ears. You can freeze the peas with the corn or separately.
Step 8
If you want to get home-made frozen mixture in winter, cook vegetable soup, then make an assortment of carrots, cauliflower, peppers and peas. Whenever you wish to sample the soup, place it in a pot of boiling water and cook until the vegetables are tender.
Step 9
Add frozen green beans to the first. If it's shallow, place it whole in the freezer. Pre-cut large specimens into strips 2 cm wide.
Step 10
Place finely chopped dill and parsley for storage at sub-zero temperatures. Here green onions are not frozen.
