Many people dislike beef because it is quite tough. This can be remedied if you cook it properly. I suggest you make mushroom goulash with wine from this meat. Stewing will make the beef very tender and aromatic.

It is necessary

  • - beef - 800 g;
  • - champignons - 500 g;
  • - onion - 1 pc.;
  • - dry red wine - 1/2 cup;
  • - flour - 1 tablespoon;
  • - dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

After rinsing the beef with water, let it dry. Then remove all streaks and film from the meat, and then cut it into medium-sized pieces.

Step 2

After pouring enough sunflower oil into the pan, heat it up and lay out the sliced meat so that the pieces are at some distance from each other, that is, they do not touch. After browning the beef, place it in a bowl that has a thick bottom.

Step 3

Place wheat flour, dried oregano and black pepper with salt in a bowl with meat. Mix everything properly. Then pour dry red wine there. The resulting mixture, tightly covered with a lid, simmer over very low heat for 2 hours.

Step 4

While the meat is cooking, peel and chop the onion. Cut the champignons into thin slices. Mix the vegetables and fry them in oil until golden brown.

Step 5

After 2 hours, add the sauteed vegetables to the beef stew. Cook the resulting mass for another half an hour.

Step 6

When the dish is completely ready, you can serve it to the table. Mushroom goulash with beef and wine is ready! It goes well with rice and potatoes. By the way, the goulash will be even tastier if you let it stand for one day - so it becomes more saturated with seasonings and wine.
