Dumplings are invariably popular in any home. They are so delicious they disappear from the plates in no time! Dumplings can be prepared for future use and use different fillings.
In all fillings, choose the ingredients to taste, based on the available products.
Salted curd filling. Take fresh cottage cheese, add a raw egg, chopped onions, salt, pepper, a little softened butter to it, stir the filling well. Crumbled fresh dill can be added to the salted curd filling.
Sweet curd filling. Break a raw egg into cottage cheese, add sugar, a little vanillin, butter, a spoonful of sour cream, mix everything. You can add cinnamon, washed steamed raisins, or grated apples to the sweet curd filling. Cottage cheese can be wiped through a sieve in advance.
Fish filling. Take any minced fish, salt, pepper, add raw or fried onions, an egg. You can add some grated raw potatoes to the minced fish.
Potato filling with onions and mushrooms. Boil peeled potatoes, make dense mashed potatoes, salt. Fry finely chopped onions and pre-boiled mushrooms in vegetable oil. Add them to mashed potatoes, stir. You can add chopped dill or parsley to the potato filling.
Cabbage filling. Finely chop fresh cabbage, fry in vegetable oil along with chopped onions. You can use washed sauerkraut. Chopped boiled eggs or boiled mushrooms can be added to the cabbage filling.
Raw potato filling. Rinse and peel potatoes. Cut into very small cubes, add chopped onions, salt, black pepper. Transfer the filling into a colander to drain excess liquid.
Berry filling. Take any fresh berries (pitted cherries, strawberries, raspberries, honeysuckle, black currants, etc.), sort out, rinse, add sugar and a little flour, rub in a bowl, drain the juice.
