This layered salad is perfect for the New Year's menu: thanks to the unusual combination of crab meat and walnuts, the salad acquires a spicy taste and can become a signature dish on the table!
For four servings of crab salad, take:
- one sour apple, - 250 g of crab meat, - 150 g of shelled walnuts, - five eggs, - one onion, - 50 g mayonnaise, - 150 g of hard cheese, - a clove of garlic, - 50 g sour cream, - 100 g of sour yogurt.
How to make a New Year's salad with nuts and crab meat
Boil hard-boiled eggs, let them cool in cold water. Separate the yolks and mash with a fork, and finely chop the whites. Finely grate the cheese and then dice the crab meat. Peel the onion and scald to remove the bitterness. Wash the apple, peel and grate. Pound the nuts into small crumbs.
Prepare a salad dressing: combine mayonnaise, sour yogurt and sour cream, stir. Pass the peeled garlic through a press, rub the walls of the split ring for salad with it. First put the whites into the split ring, then grated cheese, crab meat, onions, egg yolks, grated apple. Do not forget to coat each layer with sour cream dressing. Sprinkle walnuts on top of the salad. It will take about an hour to cook, each serving has 340 calories.
