  • - water - 2 tablespoons;
  • - yogurt - 1/4 cup;
  • - butter - 4 tablespoons;
  • - sugar - 1 teaspoon;
  • - baking powder for dough - 1 teaspoon;
  • - salt - 2 teaspoons;
  • - fresh yeast - 25 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Combine the following ingredients in one bowl: fresh yeast, warm water, granulated sugar and milk. Stir the future dough, then put it to infuse for 15 minutes in heat or in a bowl with warm water. When the mass begins to bubble and foam appears on its surface, it means that it is ready.

Step 2

Pre-soften or melt the butter, then mix it with flour, salt, yogurt and baking powder. Mix this mass well. Then add it to the yeast mixture, that is, to the dough.

Step 3

After kneading the dough, cover it with a towel and put it in the heat for about 2-3 hours, at least. Thus, it will rise approximately 2-2.5 times.

Step 4

Cut the finished dough so that you get 6 equal pieces. Turn each of them into an oval layer, the thickness of which is approximately 0.5 centimeters. If you want, decorate the rolled flatbread with, for example, chopped herbs.

Step 5

Bake the layers of dough alternately in an oven preheated to a temperature of 225 degrees for 5-10 minutes. Brush the finished baked goods with melted butter and serve. Indian Naan flatbreads are ready!
