Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the dough from warm water, vegetable oil and flour. Bring it to a smooth, soft consistency. Let it stand for half an hour and rest.
Step 2
Combine a pinch of sugar and peas, then defrost them in a steamer or pressure cooker without water. Let the peas cool.
Step 3
Toss the peas, ginger and green chili into a blender and beat well until smooth.
Step 4
Combine peas, lemon juice, coriander, cumin, turmeric, Garam masala and salt. You can use available spice mixes instead of Garam Masala. Form the resulting mixture into balls of the same size. Also make balls of dough.
Step 5
Roll the balls of dough into pancakes and place in the center of each ball of peas. Wrap the edges of the dough inward, thus covering the pea filling. Sprinkle with flour and roll into a flat cake.
Step 6
Cook these tortillas in a pancake maker or pan until golden brown. You can serve them to the table along with a variety of sauces, cottage cheese and sour cream.
