Grilled chicken is a simple and tasty dish that is easy to prepare at home. In addition to the whole chicken carcass, you can cook any of its parts. For example, chicken legs. Tender chicken meat is quite pleasant in itself, but if you marinate it first, the taste will seem much brighter to you.

- For the white wine marinade:
- dry white wine 100 ml;
- bay leaf 2 pcs;
- onions 2 pcs;
- half a lemon;
- oregano 1 tsp;
- salt;
- pepper.
- For the honey marinade:
- liquid honey 1 tbsp;
- soy sauce 2 tablespoons;
- vegetable oil 2 tablespoons;
- mustard 1 tsp;
- salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the legs, remove the remaining hairs with tweezers. Pat dry with paper towels.
Step 2
Make a white wine marinade. Peel the onions and chop them finely (you can use a blender, the main thing is not to turn the onions into porridge).
Step 3
In a bowl, combine the chopped onion and the broken bay leaves. Mash the mixture with your hands - the onions will juice, and the bay leaves will give off all their aroma. Add the juice from half a lemon, salt and pepper to taste, and a teaspoon of oregano. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 4
In a deep bowl, combine the chicken legs and marinade. Press down on the chicken and leave in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours (or overnight).
Step 5
Preheat the grill to 220 degrees, place the chicken legs on the wire rack and cook until golden brown for 20-25 minutes. For a beautiful color, turn them over halfway through cooking. Readiness is checked with a toothpick - if the juice is clear, then the chicken is ready; if it is cloudy and bloody, leave the chicken to cook.
Step 6
Try another marinade option. In a bowl, combine the mustard and runny honey, then add the soy sauce and lastly the vegetable oil. Add salt, but not more than a pinch, as the soy sauce itself is quite salty. Use a fork to smooth the marinade.
Step 7
Combine the chicken legs and marinade. Put them in a bag (you can use a regular plastic bag, or a special one for baking), tie it up and send it to the refrigerator for several hours. Then grill the legs as described above.
