The champions in low calorie content are citrus fruits and lemon is in first place in this group, 100 grams of which contains only 21 calories. There are also few of them in lime, but grapefruit, despite the fact that it contains 35 calories, is a must for those who want to lose weight. It contains substances that start and regulate the processes of burning fat reserves. There are 33 calories in an orange, but there is a lot of vitamin C, which is also abundant in tangerines and pomelos.

A pear is a low-calorie fruit, it contains only 31 calories, but in combination with a high content of vitamins and minerals necessary to maintain efficiency and ensure all functions of your body. Pineapples also contain a substance that helps burn fat cells - the enzyme bromelain, and there are only 40 calories in it.

Low-calorie tropical fruits increase the level of the "joy hormone" - serotonin in the body.

You can also safely include in your diet and apricots, plums, kiwi and pomegranate, they contain calories 44, 45, 46 and 49, respectively. The group of low-calorie fruits includes peaches and bananas, as well as apples, the calorie content of which largely depends on the variety and can range from 47 to 50 calories per 100 grams.

How can you diversify the menu

You can, of course, eat the fruit raw, as long as it is fresh. But you can increase their digestibility with the help of light heat treatment or by squeezing juices out of them. A delicious and refreshing sorbet can be made from pears or pineapple, for example. To do this, peel the fruit and cut into small pieces. Grind, and then whisk in a blender, adding a little mineral water without gas and a teaspoon of lemon juice.

You can also make sorbet from whipped berry pulp - watermelon, the calorie content of which is only 30 calories.

Try an oven baked grapefruit. For one such fruit, you need one tablespoon of brown cane sugar. Wash the grapefruit well in running water, cut it in half, sprinkle with sugar on top and bake in a preheated oven, holding it for 7-10 minutes. Oven-baked apples with cottage cheese filling or nuts and honey are very tasty.

Because pineapples contain bromelain, you can cook meat and fish dishes with them without affecting your weight. You will need:

- 300 g fillets of cod or red fish;

- ½ pineapple;

- a couple of sprigs of fennel;

- 2 tbsp. light honey;

- salt, ground black pepper to taste.

Cut off one pineapple circle to decorate the dish, use the rest for juicing, in which marinate the fish for 30 minutes. Then salt and pepper the fish, brush with honey, put on foil, sprinkle with chopped fennel and pour over the remaining juice. Wrap the foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Serve the fish, garnish with pineapple slices.
