Delicate mashed potatoes are one of the most popular side dishes in Russian cuisine. - 50-70 gr. butter
- 200-250ml. milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Step 1
Potatoes must be peeled, washed and cut into halves, large potatoes into quarters.

Pour cold water over potatoes and cook over medium heat.

Boil potatoes for 30-40 minutes.
Step 4
When the water boils, add salt.
Step 5
Heat the milk, but do not boil it.
Step 6
Melt the butter.
Step 7
Drain the finished potatoes.
Step 8
Mash the potatoes with a crush or pestle until smooth, gradually pouring in the oil.

After there are no lumps left, pour in the hot milk while continuing to crush.
Step 10
Take a whisk and whisk the potatoes and milk well.

Serve hot.
