  • - 250 g cannelloni;
  • - 0.5 kg of any minced meat;
  • - 4 medium tomatoes;
  • - 3 onions;
  • - 3 cloves of garlic;
  • - 200 g of any hard cheese;
  • - vegetable oil;
  • - salt and pepper to taste.
  • To make Bechamel sauce:
  • - 50 g butter;
  • - 4 tablespoons of flour;
  • - 1 liter of milk;
  • - salt and pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, you need to prepare all the ingredients and put them on the table. Start cooking minced meat. Place the minced meat in a preheated skillet. Fry over low heat. Cover the minced meat with a lid to ensure it is well done. Fry for 30 minutes.

Step 2

While the minced meat is fried, peel the garlic and onion. Chop finely and fry in a pan with a little vegetable oil until golden brown.

Step 3

Remove the skin from the tomato and cut it into small cubes. Take a deep bowl and put the prepared minced meat, onion with garlic and tomatoes into it. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix the resulting mixture well and place in a preheated pan. Fry for 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 4

Start making the sauce. To do this, melt the butter. Add a little flour to the butter and fry over low heat. Then slowly pour in the milk, salt and pepper to taste. Cook until thick. You should get a sauce that resembles thick sour cream in consistency. You can add a small amount of basil to the sauce.

Grate the cheese. Gently fill the cannelloni with the cooked minced meat. Do not stuff the tubes with minced meat too much, as they can burst during baking. Also, so that the tubes do not burst during cooking, they must be filled exclusively with cooled minced meat.

Step 6

Place the finished rolls on a baking tray and pour over the sauce. The main thing is that the sauce covers all the edges of the tubes, otherwise they will turn out dry. Place the dish in the preheated oven. Bake for half an hour at 180 degrees. Remove the dish, sprinkle with cheese and place in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
