Step 1
If there is at least one small child in the house, then usually only one parent works, so there is not much money in the family. And ready-made baby food in jars is expensive. In this case, many mothers begin to prepare baby purees, soups and juices themselves. This is beneficial, while the parents know what vegetables or fruits this puree is made from. To prepare baby food at home, you need a blender, juicer and coffee grinder. When the baby is a little older, you will need another steamer. Complementary feeding starts with one-component juices and puree for babies. Introduce each new product gradually, starting at half a teaspoon in the morning, and observe the child's behavior throughout the day.
Step 2
Juices The first food is apple juice. Take an apple, wash it well with soap and put it in a juicer. Such juice should be given to the baby immediately, it can be stored for no more than a day. To prepare pumpkin juice, put the pumpkin in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. In a juicer, you will not get only one juice - banana juice. If you decide to pamper your baby with banana juice, take banana puree and dilute it with boiled water.
Step 3
Vegetable puree After the juice, vegetable puree is introduced, and only then fruit puree. If you first give fruit puree, then the child may not like the vegetable puree. Take any low-allergenic vegetable (squash, pumpkin or cauliflower), boil it and wipe it with a blender. The puree should be thin at first, but gradually thicken it. Vegetable purees can be cooked for two days, but no more. The later you add salt and sugar to your baby's food, the better. Does the kid eat vegetables well? Add fruit puree.
Step 4
Fruit puree Apple (later - pears, apricots, peaches) rinse, bake in the oven (microwave) or boil in a saucepan. Do not add a lot of water to preserve vitamins. Cool and soften with a blender. The dishes in which you cook must be clean.
