Such a delicate and hearty pate will be a great breakfast if you add fresh bread and vegetables to it. It will also look great on a holiday table.
It is necessary
- Products:
- White beans of tender, creamy varieties - 1, 5 cups
- Champignons - 100 g
- Garlic - 1-2 cloves (to taste)
- 1 small onion
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 lemon juice
- Fresh dill - 1 small bunch
- Italian herbs (dry)
- Salt, black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the beans, soak them in water for a few hours or overnight. Boil until soft, salt to taste at the end of cooking.
Step 2
Chop the onion finely, fry it until transparent in vegetable oil. Add the finely chopped mushrooms, cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add finely chopped garlic at the end. If you are using dry herbs, rub them between your fingers and add them in front of the mushrooms to transfer their flavor to the oil.
Step 3
Immediately after adding the garlic, add the beans to the oil, a little water and simmer over low heat for 5-7 minutes. Chop the herbs finely, add dill, lemon juice, pepper to the mass and beat again. Add more lemon juice if needed.
The pate is ready! Put it in the refrigerator for a while before serving.
