Step 1

Rinse the squid fillets, boil, cool, cut into strips. Cook for three minutes. Then fry in boiling oil - fry for no more than three minutes! It is better to do this in a wok or just a well-heated skillet over high heat.

Rinse carrots, peel, cut into cubes. Onions should also be peeled, then cut into half rings, fry with carrots, then simmer with a little water until soft. Season with ground cloves and spices to taste. Mix squid with prepared vegetables. Set aside the dishes and the dish for now. Next in line is the sauce.

Step 3

To prepare the sauce, fry the flour in oil - it should acquire a golden hue, pour in the sour cream, stir. Next, dilute the hot sauce with a little water, add sugar and salt. Cook over low heat for about ten minutes - the consistency of the sauce should be like thick sour cream. Pour the sour cream sauce over the squid / vegetable mixture. Put in the oven, bake for about ten minutes (preheat the oven in advance).
