Sprinkled carrot buns are delicious and flavorful pastries. Due to the sponge yeast dough, the baked goods are fluffy, and the carrots color them in a pleasant golden-orange color. Using butter to lubricate the finished buns will allow the product to stay dry longer.

- 3.5 cups wheat flour
- 1.5 cups milk or whey
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 egg
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 2 carrots
- 100 g spread
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- for sprinkling:
- 0.5 cups wheat flour
- 50 gr. butter
- 0.5 cups sugar
- butter for greasing buns
Instructions
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in one glass of warm milk (30 degrees) after dissolving sugar in the milk. Leave for 5-10 minutes until foam appears on the surface.
Step 2
In half of the sifted flour, add the rest of the milk, yeast and knead the dough. We put the dough in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Step 3
We clean and rub the carrots on a fine grater.
Step 4
After the dough has risen, add the rest of the flour, salt, carrots, sugar and melted spread.
Step 5
Knead the dough.

We put the dough to rise for 1, 5-2 hours in a warm place.
Step 7
Divide the finished dough into 10-12 equal and roll out in the form of koloboks. We spread the koloboks on a greased baking sheet with a distance of 1.5-2 cm.
Step 8
We put the buns to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. In this case, the baking sheet should be covered with a towel.
Step 9
Preparing the sprinkling. To do this, grind the butter with flour and sugar. You should get crumbs.
Step 10
Beat the egg.
Step 11
Lubricate the buns with an egg and sprinkle with sprinkles.
Step 12
We bake buns in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
