This delicious roast is perfect as your first introduction to healthy Chinese food.
- 2 tbsp lemon juice;
- Ground zest of one lemon;
- 1 tbsp. l. honey;
- 2 tbsp. l. olive oil;
- 450 g turkey breast without skin and bones;
- 2 tbsp. l. sesame seeds;
- 2 shallots;
- 100 g beans;
- 2 small Chinese cabbages;
- 150 g champignons;
- 4 green onion feathers;
- 2 tbsp. l. finely chopped cilantro leaves.
Mix the juice and lemon zest with honey and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the resulting mixture to the turkey cut into strips, mix and cover with a lid to cool for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Toast the sesame seeds in a large skillet, shaking them occasionally. Pour the sesame seeds into a bowl and set aside.
Put the onion in a frying pan with the remaining olive oil and fry until soft.
Put the marinated turkey in a saucepan and cook over the fire, stirring occasionally for 5-7 minutes. Add beans, cabbage, green onions and mushrooms. Cook for another two to three minutes. Then add the sesame seeds and cook for another minute or two. Sprinkle with cilantro before serving.
