Millefeuille means "a thousand leaves" in French. This is the name not only for puff pastries, but also for savory snacks, collected in a pile of several ingredients and layered with a thick sauce or vegetable caviar that suits your taste.
It is necessary
- - 100 g of puff pastry;
- - caramel sauce (liquid honey);
- - berries (any);
- - 100 ml of cream (33%);
- - 1-2 teaspoon of lemon juice;
- - zest;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar with vanilla;
- - icing sugar;
Instructions
Step 1
Make puff pastry. Roll out the dough thinly 1 to 2 mm thick. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the table when rolling out the dough; when baked, it caramelizes and creates a crispy crust.
Step 2
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 10 minutes. Let the dough cool.
Step 3
Make buttercream. Whisk the cream well, add vanilla sugar, zest and lemon juice. You should get an air mass, which must be removed for a while in the refrigerator. Wash the berries and pat dry.
Step 4
Cut the finished dough into 12 rectangles. Divide 4 rectangles into serving bowls and top with caramel sauce (honey). Place some of the cream in a cooking syringe and squeeze onto each rectangle of puff pastry.
Step 5
Distribute 8 berries each over the cream, cover with a second rectangle and pour over the caramel sauce (honey) again. Then squeeze out the cream and lay out the berries. Cover with a third layer of puff pastry, dust and decorate as desired.
