Hedgehogs is one of the most popular minced meat dishes, familiar to many from childhood. They are easy to prepare and go well with many vegetable side dishes.

It is necessary
- - 400 g minced beef;
- - 1 sachet of steamed long-grain rice of the Uvelka trademark (can be replaced with the usual packaged one);
- - 1 small chicken egg;
- - 1/2 onion;
- - 150 g sour cream;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of tomato sauce or ketchup;
- - salt, spices to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil rice until half cooked. Stir in ground beef, egg, long grain rice, finely chopped onion, spices and 1/2 tablespoon tomato sauce until smooth.

Step 2
From the resulting minced meat, mold balls with a diameter of about 6 cm and place them in a fireproof mold close to each other.

Step 3
Stir in sour cream and remaining tomato sauce or ketchup until smooth.

Step 4
Pour the hedgehogs with the resulting mixture, pour in some clean filtered water, then cover the mold with a piece of foil and put in the oven for 40 minutes, temperature - 200oC.

Step 5
Remove the foil 15 minutes before the end of cooking and continue to bake the hedgehogs until tender. Remove the dish from the oven.

Step 6
Serve meatballs with tomato sour cream sauce and your favorite side dish, such as fresh vegetable salad or mashed potatoes.
