Liver pate with small pieces of roasted ham and sweet cranberries is a delicious and beautiful appetizer, but it will take a lot of time and attention.
It is necessary
- • 1 onion;
- • sunflower and butter;
- • 2 handfuls of dried cranberries;
- • 3 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce;
- • 100 g of ham;
- • 600 g of chicken liver;
- • 1 pinch of coriander;
- • 1 clove of garlic;
- • salt and black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Clean the liver from films, wash and chop randomly.
Step 2
Pour the sunflower oil into a skillet and heat well. Peel the onion and chop coarsely enough. Put in hot oil and fry quickly (within 1-2 minutes) until golden brown, not forgetting to stir.
Step 3
Put pieces of liver to the golden onion, season them with salt, stir and continue to fry for another 3-4 minutes, stirring too. During this time, the liver is not completely cooked, but it will brown well.
Step 4
After 5 minutes, pour the rosy liver with onions into a blender bowl, season with black pepper and soy sauce, mix into a homogeneous mass with a smooth texture. Put the chopped mass into any container, season with coriander and cranberries, mix.
Step 5
Wipe the liver frying pan dry with paper towels and put back on the fire. Peel and chop the garlic very finely. Chop the ham as finely as the garlic if possible.
Step 6
Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into a hot skillet. Put the ham cubes in the butter and fry them until crisp. Then add garlic and butter to the crispy ham, mix everything, fry for no more than 1 minute and remove from heat. Cool slightly, place in the liver with cranberries and stir in until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Step 7
Put the prepared mass either in one large baking dish, or in several small molds. Cover the filled molds with foil, place on a baking sheet and send to the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 8
After an hour, turn on the oven and preheat it to 150-160 degrees. Remove the baking sheet with the pate from the refrigerator, fill it with boiling water so that it reaches the middle of the molds with the pate and put it in the oven for an hour.
Step 9
After this time, remove the molds from the oven, cool and put in the refrigerator for one night. Turn the frozen pate on a plate, garnish with herbs and cranberries, serve with your favorite bread.
