Tomato soup is a delicious and light dish that allows you to diversify your daily diet by adding some new dish to it. Some people believe that tomato soup is prepared only in summer, but there are those who enjoy eating it all year round.
It is necessary
- 8 medium sized tomatoes;
- 300 ml tomato juice;
- 1 can of white canned beans
- 1 large carrot;
- 1 onion head;
- 2 celery stalks;
- 100 g of smoked meat (pork, chicken, etc.);
- 4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil (in the original recipe, tomato soup is prepared with olive oil, but this is a matter of taste);
- Salt and spices at your discretion.
Instructions
Step 1
Let's start cooking tomato soup by cutting the meat. Cut the pork (or other product of your choice) into thin strips.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a saucepan, put the prepared meat there, fry it for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Peel the onions, cut them as small as possible, send them to the pan to the meat.
Step 4
Wash celery, chop, put in a saucepan with other ingredients. Fry the meat with vegetables for a couple of minutes.
Step 5
Wash the tomatoes, peel them off. To make the tomatoes easy to peel, make a crosswise notch on the skin of the vegetable with a knife. Place the tomatoes in a deep bowl, pour over boiling water and then cold water. After the manipulations done, the skin from the tomatoes will easily come off.
Step 6
Chop the resulting tomato pulp finely with a knife, send the vegetable along with the juice that came out of it into a saucepan. Stir the contents of the dishes, reduce the gas to a minimum, then simmer all the ingredients together for a quarter of an hour.
Step 7
Open a jar of beans, discard it in a colander so that the liquid is glass, put the product in a saucepan, pour in tomato juice there.
Step 8
Stir the tomato soup thoroughly, add salt and spices to taste. Cook the dish over moderate heat for half an hour.
Step 9
Tomato soup is served warm, decorated with leaves of fresh herbs. Basil sprigs will be ideal for taste with the first course.
