Cake "Napoleon" is a layered cake soaked in cream. This cake is prepared all over the world, for example, in the USA it is called Napoleon, in France and Italy Millefeuille, in the UK Vanilla slice.

- - 250 g margarine
- - 3 cups flour
- - 1 glass of sour cream
- - 2 eggs
- - 1.5 cups granulated sugar
- - 0.5 l of milk
- - 300 g of butter.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare 2 doughs for Napoleon.
1 dough:
Whisk sour cream with eggs and two glasses of flour
Step 2
2 dough:
Melt the margarine and mix with one glass of flour
Step 3
Knead the first dough and cut into 6 equal pieces.
Step 4
Make a flat cake from each part and then roll out thinly, spread with a second dough. Put all the greased cakes one on top of the other and make a roll.
Step 5
Place the roll in a cool place overnight.
Step 6
Cut the roll into 20 equal pieces 1-1.5 cm thick, remove half in a cold place, and roll the remaining half thinly. To make the cakes even, place a plate on top of them and trim off the edges.
Step 7
Bake cakes for "Napoleon" on a dry baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the cakes for about 3-5 minutes.
Step 8
Remove the cakes from the baking sheet and stack them on a plate. Bake the scraps too.
Step 9
Prepare a cream for Napoleon. Mix granulated sugar, 3 tbsp. flour and pour hot milk. Knead to thicken the mixture and let cool. When cool, whisk the mixture and add the butter.
Step 10
Lubricate the cakes with cream, grate the crumbs and sprinkle them with Napoleon. Place the cake in a cold place for 12-15 hours to soak well.
