German poppy seed cake is one of my favorite cakes. Quickly and easy enough to prepare. The filling is very pleasant, has a soft and delicate texture. This cake is just a miracle!

- - butter - 130 g
- - sugar - 100 g
- - vanillin (optional)
- For filling:
- - milk - 750 g
- - sugar - 150 g
- - semolina - 150 g
- - poppy seed filling for pies - 150 g
- - butter - 100 g
- - cottage cheese - 250 g
- - egg - 1 pc.
Instructions
Step 1
Grind flour, butter, vanillin and sugar into crumbs.
Step 2
We put about 2/3 of all the crumbs on the bottom of the mold, pre-oiled. And put it in the refrigerator while the filling is cooking.

Let's start preparing the filling.
Pour milk into a saucepan, add butter and sugar. We put on fire and bring to a boil.
Step 4
Mix poppy seeds and semolina in a plate. We begin to add the mixture to the milk, remembering to constantly stir so that there are no lumps. We remove from the stove, cover with a lid and leave for 10 minutes so that our filling begins to thicken.
Step 5
Beat the cottage cheese and egg in a blender.
Step 6
After 10 minutes have passed, add cottage cheese to the poppy seeds and mix thoroughly.
Step 7
We take out our form from the refrigerator and distribute the filling over it. After that, sprinkle with the remaining crumbs.
Step 8
We put our pie preheated to 180 ° C for an hour. Before serving, you can sprinkle with icing sugar and put a sprig of fresh mint.
