Recently, muffins have entered our kitchen in addition to the usual muffins. Essentially, muffins are the same cupcakes, but there are a few things to consider when preparing them that make these little cupcakes so special.
It is necessary
- Flour 300 g.
- Egg 1pc.
- Butter 75 g.
- Milk 150 g.
- Powdered sugar 2 tbsp
- Baking powder 1 tsp with a slide
- Baking dish
Instructions
Step 1
The peculiarity of making muffins is that dry and liquid ingredients are prepared in separate containers and mixed together immediately before baking the muffins. But before you start preparing the dough, turn on the oven so that it warms up to 200 degrees.
Step 2
Take a bowl, pour flour and icing sugar into it, stir them well with a spoon. Add baking powder to the mixture and mix well again.
Step 3
Melt the butter, pour into another bowl, cool until warm. Crack an egg and stir in warm oil. Pour milk into the mixture and beat well with a whisk or mixer. Mix liquid and dry ingredients with gentle spoon movements. This is a very important point in making muffins, never use a mixer for this purpose. It is better to slightly stir the mixture than to knead more of it. A properly prepared dough should not be absolutely smooth, if there are small lumps in it, there is nothing wrong with that.
Step 4
Line the muffin dish with paper tins and fill them 2/3 full with dough, place the muffins in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Finished muffins can be sprinkled with icing sugar or decorated with chocolate icing. At the stage of making the dough, you can add anything to the bulk - cocoa, pieces of chocolate or fruit, berries, liqueur, and so on. Each of these products will allow you to make different types of cupcakes, and each one will be good in its own way.
