Lavash is often used in cooking, as it is the thinnest dough cake that is perfect for preparing various snacks. Try making pita rolls with a lean mushroom and cabbage filling.
It is necessary
- –Fresh carrots (1 pc.);
- –Any fresh mushrooms (230 g);
- –Onions (1-2 pcs.);
- –Two flatbreads;
- –Salt and pepper to taste;
- - vegetable oil (7 g).
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to prepare the filling. Take a cabbage, remove the upper limp leaves. Chop the cabbage into thin strips using a sharp knife. Mash a little with your hands, add salt and pepper, stir and transfer to a cup. Leave the cabbage to drain.
Step 2
Take mushrooms, rinse well under running water, removing excess leaves and needles. Chop the mushrooms into small pieces in any shape. Place in a bowl along with the cabbage.
Step 3
Remove the peel from the carrots, grate on a fine grater. Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes. Toss the carrots, onions, mushrooms and cabbage in one cup.
Step 4
Next, put the pan on the burner, pour oil on the bottom and put on low heat. Put the vegetables with mushrooms in a pan and, stirring with a wooden spatula, cook until softened.
Step 5
At the end of cooking, place the finished filling in a bowl and let cool for 20-30 minutes. If you wrap a hot filling in pita bread, then the rolls will fall apart.
Step 6
Roll out each sheet of pita bread, place the filling evenly over the entire surface. Gently start rolling the pita bread into a roll, starting from the edge. Cut the resulting roll with a wet knife into portioned pieces.
Step 7
In the same pan where the filling was fried, heat a little more oil. Fry each roll until golden brown.
