There are many different recipes for chicken pies. This cake is not only amazingly tasty, it is very tender and really just melts in your mouth. It can be served on weekdays and on the festive table.
Creamy chicken pie
It will be needed for the test:
- 50 g butter;
- 2 eggs;
- 3 tablespoons of cold water;
- 200 g flour;
- 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda, quenched with vinegar.
It will be needed for the filling:
- 300 g of chicken fillet (or breast);
- 400 g of fresh mushrooms (champignons, oyster mushrooms);
- 100 g onions;
- salt;
- vegetable oil;
- seasoning for chicken.
It will be needed for filling;
- 200 ml of medium fat cream;
- 150 g of hard cheese;
- 2 eggs;
- nutmeg;
- salt.
Knead the dough from the ingredients, put it in a plastic bag or wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.
Then boil the chicken fillet until half cooked, cool and cut into medium cubes. Chop mushrooms and onions and fry in oil for 10 minutes, add chicken, salt, season with spices and fry for another 5-10 minutes.
The next step is to prepare the fill. Grate the cheese on a medium grater, mix with beaten eggs and cream, salt to taste, add a little nutmeg. Stir the resulting filling well with a whisk.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll it out and place in a mold, making high sides from it along the edges. Place the filling on top of the dough and pour over the filling. Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes at a temperature of 150-180 degrees.
