Parents often have a question: how to please a loved one with a sweet tooth, so that it is both tasty and healthy? The answer is correct - carrot cookies. Carrot dishes are enriched with a lot of vitamins. Everyone will love this dessert. At the same time, it requires a minimum investment of time and money. So what do you need for a carrot cookie?

Ingredients for making carrot cookies:

- wheat (or corn) flour - 1 glass;

- brown sugar (white can be used) - 60 g;

- carrots - 2 large or 3 medium;

- egg (large) - 1 pc.;

- butter - 120 g;

- vanillin - on the tip of a knife;

- baking powder - 0.5 tsp;

- salt - 0.5 tsp;

- cinnamon - to taste.

Carrots are very useful for children, as they contain a large amount of carotene, which is necessary for full nutrition of the retina of the eyes and strengthening of vision.

How to make tender and healthy carrot cookies

Leave the butter at room temperature an hour before making the dessert to soften it.

When the butter has softened, you need to put it in a deep container, add sugar, vanillin and beat well with a whisk or food processor (you can also use a fork, but this will take much longer).

Continuing to beat butter, sugar and vanillin until smooth, add the egg to the mass. If the egg is small, you can add another one.

In another container, you need to mix the remaining dry ingredients: flour (sift beforehand), salt and cinnamon. You should be extremely careful with cinnamon - not all children love spices. You can use corn flour in the recipe, while adding a little wheat flour. All ingredients are mixed.

Carrots should be grated. It is better to use the shallow side, this will allow you to "disguise" the carrots from babies who are not very fond of vegetables. Chopped carrots will also smooth the dough. The grated vegetable must be squeezed out to get rid of excess juice.

Now you should mix the contents of 2 containers - flour, carrots and butter with sugar. The result should be a thick and sticky dough.

Cover the dough with a plate or cling film and refrigerate. There it will "reach" and acquire the desired consistency, with which it will be more convenient to work.

Put parchment paper on a baking sheet, grease it with a little oil, and lay out the dough in the form of small circles (you can use a fork or lay out the dough with your hands - as you like).

Cookies are placed in a preheated 180 degrees oven and baked for 15-20 minutes (this depends on the particular oven).

Be sure to cool the liver, and after that it can be eaten with milk or tea.

Did you know that carrot cookies are a natural "healer" for disorders in the functioning of the kidneys, heart and blood vessels? It helps to eliminate inflammatory processes in the body.

Homemade carrot cookies are really good for growing babies. There are other recipes for making cookies, but this option is the simplest and most delicious.
