Now, from the point of view of a nutritionist, it is a time of paradoxes. On the one hand, there is a huge variety of different products, supermarket shelves are simply bursting with the abundance of their assortment, and on the other, there is a general shortage of the most essential vitamins and microelements, "correct" carbohydrates and fats, proteins in children and adults.

Hence - excess weight, metabolic disorders, decreased immunity, a lush bouquet of flourishing diseases.

Many schoolchildren, and even adults, do not have breakfast at all, or make do with a regular cup of tea and coffee with a sandwich, which is also by no means useful.

There is a way out: to prepare "concentrates" from foods rich in vitamins, microelements and give them to the child at school (or for breakfast), and you can't cheat yourself, take them for "snacks" during work. It will be something like homemade muesli. This dish is now very popular all over the world. It is called "granola" and it is prepared very simply and quickly.

It is necessary

  • Serves 4:
  • oatmeal (from the traditional "Hercules", which takes a long time to cook) 30 g (2 tablespoons)
  • sprouted wheat 30 g (tbsp)
  • apricot kernels 30 g
  • coconut flakes 30 g
  • sesame seeds 30 g
  • light raisins 30 g
  • pine nuts
  • juice of half a lemon (can be replaced with cranberries 30g)
  • honey 2 tablespoons
  • vegetable oil 1 tbsp.
  • water 1 tbsp.

Instructions

Step 1

Mix water, honey, oil and lemon juice in a separate bowl.

Combine oatmeal, chopped nuts (if using apricot pits, hazelnuts, or walnuts) and dried fruits (if you have dried apricots, prunes and large raisins). If the ingredients are small (pine nuts, raw peeled seeds, small raisins, sesame seeds), then they do not need to be chopped.

Step 2

Pour a mixture of water, honey and oil into the nut-oatmeal mass, you can add a pinch of salt if desired and mix, you can rub it in your palms to make the bars more crumbly.

Cover a baking sheet with baking paper, put the resulting mixture on it in a "block" and bake at a moderate temperature in the oven (from 130-180 ° C) for 35-45 minutes until a golden crust forms.

The resulting baked muesli can be cut into portions and wrapped in baking paper or foil for each bar.

Step 3

Granola is very tasty just as an independent dish; schoolchildren are happy to have a snack with it during breaks.

It can be poured over with milk or yoghurt like regular muesli.

You can put a ball of granola inside the apple and bake it - just delicious!
