Step 1
Chop the basil leaves thoroughly. Cut carrots and celery into thin strips. Chop the garlic or cut into small cubes.
Step 2
Fry the garlic and onion in olive oil. A little thyme can be added for flavor. In a saucepan, combine mussels, carrots and celery. Pour white wine over the mixture. Wait for the mussels to fully open. You can cover the saucepan with a lid.
Step 3
After the mussels have fully opened, add the heavy cream and basil to the saucepan. Cook the ingredients for a few minutes, then immediately put the mussels in a deep plate and serve.
