Delicious chicken liver cake is often served at various celebrations along with other dishes. Sometimes they cook on everyday days, when you want something tasty. For the recipe, you need to use chicken liver, but beef will work as well. The number of layers will depend on various factors - the number of ingredients, the size of the pan, etc. It is better not to make the liver cake too high.
It is necessary
- For eight people:
- - salt - to taste;
- - parsley - to taste;
- - dill - to taste;
- - mayonnaise - 1.25 cups;
- - garlic - 3 cloves;
- - carrots - 2, 5 pieces;
- - onions - 2 pcs;
- - vegetable oil - 5 tablespoons;
- - wheat flour - 0.35 cups;
- - milk - 0.5 cups;
- - chicken egg - 2 pcs;
- - chicken liver - 350 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel carrots and onions. Chop and sauté the onion over medium heat until tender and translucent. Add coarsely grated carrots and cook until soft.
Step 2
Rinse the liver in water, cut off fat, if any, connective tissue. Then whisk it with milk in a blender until puree is obtained.
Step 3
In a deep bowl, mix the mashed liver with eggs, add two tablespoons of vegetable oil and flour. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
Step 4
Fry the chicken liver pancakes in a skillet over medium heat. Fry on both sides until tender.
Step 5
Combine mayonnaise and garlic minced through a press, add finely chopped dill and parsley.
Step 6
Place the pancake carefully in the center of a large, flat plate. Brush with prepared herbs and mayonnaise sauce on top. Top with fried onions and carrots, top with the next liver pancake.
Step 7
Repeat the liver cake shaping procedure above until all ingredients are used up. Spread the sauce over the top of the cake. Chill food in refrigerator for 2 hours before serving. This is necessary for impregnation.
Step 8
You can serve delicious chicken liver cake with cucumber salad, boiled potatoes and a semi-sweet loaf cut into slices. Cold milk or kefir is very good as a drink.
