Do you or your family want cutlets, and there is no meat or fish in the refrigerator? Make cabbage patties! This is a very healthy and very tasty dish, which, among other things, is not difficult to prepare.

- 1 kg of white cabbage;
- half a glass of semolina;
- 3 chicken eggs;
- medium onion;
- a piece of butter;
- breadcrumbs;
- vegetable oil;
- salt
- pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the cabbage. Wash the head of cabbage, dry it slightly. Chop the cabbage finely. You can use a food processor by choosing the appropriate knives, or with an ordinary meat grinder. Put chopped cabbage in an enamel saucepan, add water, one tablespoon of vegetable oil, put on fire and simmer until half cooked.
Step 2
Pour semolina into the boiling mass in a thin stream, stirring constantly with a spoon. Make sure that no lumps form. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously.
Step 3
After about fifteen minutes you will see that the mass easily begins to peel off the walls. This means you can turn off the fire. After that, cool the mixture, add salt and pepper as you like. Stir.
Step 4
Chop the onions very finely. Place a small skillet on the stove, turn on the heat. Melt a piece of butter on it and pour the chopped onion into it. Fry until light golden brown.
Step 5
Return to the main mass, break the eggs there, pour in the fried onions. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 6
Next, use your hands to form small oval cutlets from the mass. To prevent pieces of the so-called "minced meat" from remaining on your hands, periodically moisten them with cold water. Pour the breadcrumbs into a separate bowl. Sprinkle each cutlet you make in them.
Step 7
Pour vegetable oil into a large skillet, heat and place the patties. Fry each until golden and crispy.
Step 8
Serve these cutlets with your favorite side dish or separately, as an independent and self-sufficient dish. In addition, you can serve them with some kind of sauce, for example, mayonnaise or ketchup, or simply put a spoonful of sour cream.
