Instructions

Step 1

Yeast is a type of yeast fungus that has the ability to change the complex structure of organic compounds to a simpler one. They are usually used in winemaking, cheese making, brewing and baking, using several types of fermentation depending on the type of yeast. Baker's yeast is grown in an oxygenated environment - their spores are placed in containers with minerals, nitrogen mixtures and sugar beets. Fungus grows in a foamy deposit, which is then cleaned with water and a centrifuge, removed all moisture, compacted and packaged for sale.

Step 2

The most suitable for a bread machine are dry fast-acting yeast, which is known for its fast "raising" the dough (one and a half to two times faster than other yeast). They are used not only for making bread - but also for preparing all other types of homemade pastries, to which they give airiness, splendor, tenderness, delicate aroma and golden brown crust. The amount of dry yeast is indicated in all recipes that are intended for a bread machine.

Step 3

Also, for baking bread in a bread maker, you can use fresh pressed yeast, which is grown using a special nutrient medium due to the continuous accumulation of biological mass of seed and uterine yeast. In this case, the medium undergoes intensive aeration, after which the finished commercial yeast is pressed or evacuated. Fresh yeast gives the bread the perfect texture and great taste as it provides the strongest fermentation.

Step 4

Fresh yeast is usually creamy and should not smudge, but break when pressed, otherwise it is spoiled. They cannot be stored in sealed containers, as the yeast must breathe and constantly be in contact with air. To make bread in a bread maker, you need to take three times more fresh yeast than dry yeast (by weight). In this case, you must first very thoroughly stir the fresh yeast in a small amount of water, and then pour it into the bread maker with the main liquid.
