Solyanka is a dish of Russian cuisine, which is a soup with hot spices and herbs. Its base has a salty-sour-pungent taste. In Russian cuisine, there is another dish with the same name; it is prepared from stewed cabbage, meat, mushrooms or fish.

To prepare a hodgepodge with lemons and smoked meats you will need:

- water - 1 l;

- smoked meat - 300 g;

- lemons - 2 pcs;

- tomato paste - 80 g;

- olives - 300 g;

- boiled potatoes - 2 pcs.;

- garlic - 3 cloves;

- spices, salt, herbs - to taste.

Cut the smoked meats into cubes and the olives into slices. Peel the boiled potatoes and cut into cubes as well. Pass the chives through a press, mix with tomato paste and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Add spices to the sauce and stir. Pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil, then add olives, potatoes and smoked meats. Pour in the sauce and cook for 10 minutes. The dish is ready.

Before serving, season the hodgepodge with herbs and sour cream.

Products:

- chicken - 500 g;

- smoked ham - 150 g;

- carbonade - 150 g;

- hunting sausages - 4 pcs.;

- salted lemons - 0.5 pcs.;

- potatoes - 4 pcs.;

- tomatoes - 1 pc.;

- garlic - 3 cloves;

- pickled cucumbers - 5 pcs.;

- tomato paste - 2 tablespoons

- carrots - 1 pc.;

- leeks - 1 pc.;

- olives or capers - to taste;

- salt, pepper - to taste;

- sour cream.

Wash the chicken, put in a saucepan, cover with cold water, put on the stove and cook after boiling for half an hour. Then take out the meat. Peel the carrots, grate them on a coarse grater. Cut the leeks into thin rings. Scald the tomatoes, peeled and cut into cubes. Peel the garlic, chop it. Fry the onions in olive oil, add the tomatoes, carrots, garlic and simmer for a few more minutes. Add tomato paste, and after a minute, thinly sliced salted lemons. Cook the mixture for 1 minute. Grate the cucumbers on a coarse grater and add to the broth. Cut the ham, chop and sausages into sticks or cubes. Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes and place them with the smoked meats in the broth. When the potatoes are cooked, add the fry, salt, pepper, diced chicken and cook the hodgepodge for 2-3 minutes over very low heat. Let the finished dish sit for 15 minutes. Before serving, add chopped capers or olives, herbs, sour cream to your taste.

The more smoked meats in the hodgepodge, the tastier the dish will turn out.

Products:

- bones for broth - 250 g;

- meat - 100 g;

- ham - 50 g

- onions - 4 pcs.;

- pickles - 5 pcs.;

- olives and olives - 10 pcs.;

- sausage - to taste;

- lemon - 1 piece;

- sour cream - to taste;

- salt, pepper, herbs - to taste.

Place the bones and meat in a saucepan, cover with cold water and boil the broth. Remove the meat and cut into cubes. Then peel and finely chop the onions, save them in a little broth. Add tomato paste and cook for 5-8 minutes. Cut pickles into strips, olives into slices, sausage into cubes. Add sauteed onions, olives, cucumbers, meat, sausage and spices to taste into the boiling broth, pour in freshly squeezed lemon juice. Cook the hodgepodge for 5-10 minutes. At the end of cooking, add salt if necessary. When serving, season the hodgepodge with sour cream, add chopped olives, herbs.
