Another way to make dandelion jam is with the addition of oranges. For 250 grams of flowers, take 2 oranges and 1 lemon.

Flowers are washed and dried. Oranges are cut into small slices. Put everything in a saucepan, pour water (1.5 liters), bring to a boil. The syrup should cook for one hour. Then it is filtered and sugar is added (750 g per 1 liter of liquid).

Then the syrup is filtered, lemon juice is added and boiled for another 20 minutes. The dandelion jam is allowed to cool before being poured into the jars.

This cooking method does not require boiling. Dandelion flowers are minced. You can also use stems. Honey is added to the mass at the rate of 2 tbsp. l. 1/2 liter of the mixture. Then the container is closed with a lid and left to infuse for 12 hours. During this time, you need to mix the jam several times. This folk remedy is taken as a tonic with tea.

After boiling the flowers, squeeze them out so that the maximum amount of nutrients gets into the jam.

You can use citric acid instead of lemon.
