Due to its tart taste and exquisite aroma, ginger goes well with almost all citrus fruits, including oranges. In addition, it doubles the beneficial properties of jam, making it an indispensable tool for strengthening the immune system.

Required Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg of oranges;
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons of ground ginger;
  • 500 g granulated sugar.

Preparation:

Wash the oranges and peel them. Fill the orange skins with boiling water and leave to infuse for 5 minutes. Cut the orange fruits into small pieces and remove all the seeds, then put them in a separate bowl, cover them with granulated sugar and mix thoroughly. Grind the orange peel and add it to the sliced oranges along with the water it was in.

Put the saucepan with oranges on low heat and bring to a boil, then add ground ginger and mix thoroughly. Boil the orange jam until it thickens (about 30-40 minutes). Remove the finished orange delicacy from the heat, let it cool slightly and pour it into the jars.

If the usual apricot jam is already boring and you want something new and unusual, then the classic recipe can be diversified by adding oranges to it. Apricots go well with this type of citrus, creating an incredibly delicate and aromatic delicacy.

Required Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of oranges;
  • 3 kg of apricots;
  • 1.5 kg of sugar.

Preparation:

Wash apricots and divide them into halves, removing seeds from them. Put the processed fruits in a saucepan, cover generously with sugar and leave to infuse for 6-8 hours. Wash the oranges and, without removing the peel, cut them into medium pieces of arbitrary shape, removing all the seeds along the way. We pass the sliced oranges through a meat grinder. We send the resulting mass to the apricots that have already been infused and juiced. We put the saucepan on a small fire and cook the orange-apricot mass until thickened. We pack the finished jam into jars and close the lids.

Orange jam

Orange jam is perhaps one of the most delicious types of orange jam. A distinctive feature of this dessert is its delicate jelly-like consistency. Children love this delicacy, as orange jam tastes like marmalade.

Required Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of oranges;
  • 1 kg of sugar.

Preparation:

Wash the oranges thoroughly and cut them into medium-sized cubes, removing all seeds. Remove the peel from one orange and cut it into thin strips. Grind the chopped oranges in a blender to a monotonous puree mass. We send the resulting citrus blank into the pan along with the zest and granulated sugar, after which we mix everything thoroughly.

We put the pan on low heat and cook for 20 minutes. Cool the finished dessert and put it in jars. If desired, you can add one package of gelatin to the jam so that the consistency of the jam turns out to be similar to marmalade.
