The first and easiest way is to freeze

Then the strawberries need to be washed, dried on a paper towel, and only then laid out in a container. You can freeze strawberries in special containers, they are sold in stores or in plastic bags. Freezing in a container is more practical, the berries will remain intact, but this method will not work for those who have limited space in the freezer. When freezing berries in a bag, do not try to hammer it to the eyeballs, it is best to put the strawberries in one or two layers, release the air, and then tie. It is easier to store a flat bag in the freezer, and it will be much more convenient to break off piece by piece. You can cook compotes and jelly from frozen berries, add to baked goods and desserts.
Drying berries
This method is suitable for those who do not like frozen berries, or have a small freezer. you can dry the berries yourself without purchasing expensive drying units. For drying, you need to take small berries, otherwise there is a possibility that the strawberries will simply rot. So, the berries need to be sorted out, washed and dried, then laid out on a tray or cardboard and placed in a dry, dark and warm place where direct sunlight does not fall. For such purposes, a dry shed or attic is perfect. Do not forget to turn the berries over from time to time so that they dry evenly. You can also pick the berries together with the stem, tie them into small bouquets and hang them on the floors in the barn. Compotes are made from dried berries or brewed instead of tea.
