- 500 g feijoa,
- 200 g sugar
- 500 ml - water
- 1.5 liters of vodka,
- 1 month of time.
Instructions
Step 1
Feijoa is a very tasty, healthy and aromatic berry, its smell resembles a mixture of strawberries and pineapple. The peculiarity of feijoa is that it is able to accumulate water-soluble iodine compounds, which are easily absorbed by the human body. Therefore, it is recommended to include feijoa in the diet for the prevention of thyroid diseases associated with a lack of iodine in the body. Feijoa fruits are also recommended to be used for various diseases: atherosclerosis, hypo- and avitaminosis, inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, gastritis, pyelonephritis. We present to your attention a tincture of feijoa fruits, which will be not only very tasty, but also useful.
Step 2
You need to take a three-liter jar, wash well and wipe dry with a paper towel.
Step 3
Wash 300 g of cranberries and let excess water drain as much as possible. Then the cranberries need to be mashed. You can use a very interesting method to avoid the bright red splashes of berry juice. Cranberries need to be put in a plastic bag (or better in two) and thoroughly knead the berries.
Step 4
Wash a pound of feijoa fruit well, also wipe dry. Slice them without peeling them. Then put the fruits and berries in a jar and mix well.
Step 5
Then you need to cook sugar syrup from 500 ml of water and 200 g of sugar. Pour the boiling syrup into a jar and mix all the ingredients. Add one and a half liters of vodka almost to the top of the can and mix again. Then we close the jar with a lid and put it in a dark place for at least 1 month.
Step 6
Once a week we look into this dark secluded place and shake the tin with the tincture.
The finished tincture will need to be filtered through a dense cloth or fine sieve just before use.
