Red hot peppers are widely used in medicine. It contains vitamins A, C, essential oils, capsancin, which give it medicinal properties. In home medicine, pepper is most often used as a tincture to promote hair growth.
It is necessary
- - 2 small pods of dry red pepper;
- - 200 ml of vodka.
- Or:
- - 1/4 pod of dry red pepper;
- - 1/4 cup alcohol (90%);
- - 2, 5 cups of boiled water.
Instructions
Step 1
Use ground pepper for cooking. Take two small pods of dry red hot pepper and grind in a coffee grinder or food processor. Place the ground pepper in a small glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
Step 2
Add 200 ml of vodka to the jar, close the lid tightly. For convenience, attach a label indicating the date and contents of the jar so that you do not accidentally get the burning contents on your hands or eyes.
Step 3
Leave to infuse in a cool, dark place for two weeks. Do not forget to shake the jar periodically, about once a day. Then take a piece of cheesecloth, fold it four times and strain the infusion. Discard the used pepper.
Step 4
Store the tincture in a dark glass container with a tight lid, preferably in a dark place. In this case, it can be used for a long time.
Step 5
Try another version of the pepper tincture - alcohol. The method of preparation is almost the same as the first: pour a quarter of a glass of rubbing alcohol into a quarter of a glass of dry crushed red pepper.
Step 6
Infuse the mixture for a week by placing the dishes in a cool, dark place with the lid tightly closed. Then strain and dilute with two and a half glasses of boiled water. Close the lid tightly and store the tincture in the refrigerator.
Step 7
Combine the tincture with burdock or castor oil in a one-to-one ratio to rub into your scalp if you have dry hair. Or you can dilute it with water (kefir, serum) in the same ratio if your hair is oily. You can use this remedy two to three times a week, which promotes blood flow and intense hair growth. Also, pepper tincture on vodka is taken orally for the treatment of inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, headache, hyperemia, gout.
