Buckwheat is a healthy nutritious product. It has a beneficial effect on all body systems and improves the functioning of its organs. Try to cook buckwheat porridge in a pot using an old Russian recipe. It can be eaten as an independent dish and as a side dish.
It is necessary
-
- 800 g of buckwheat;
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- broth or water.
Instructions
Step 1
Sift 800 g of buckwheat through a fine sieve. To do this, prepare two bowls. Pour a portion of the cereal into a sieve and shake it. Crushed grains and debris will fall into the bowl, and cereals will remain in the sieve for cooking porridge. Transfer it to a second bowl and sift for the next serving.
Step 2
Sort the sifted cereals. If desired, buckwheat can be washed in cold water, rubbing it with your hands. This is necessary to remove buckwheat flour from the grains. Then put the buckwheat in a frying pan and roast in the oven red hot, stirring with a spoon.
Step 3
Boil water or broth.
Step 4
Put the fried cereals in clay pots, taking up half the volume. If the porridge is to be cooked in water, put 1 tablespoon of butter in each pot. Add about 1 tablespoon of salt, spreading it evenly over all the pots. Mix everything.
Step 5
Pour buckwheat with hot broth or water so that the liquid level is 4-5 cm higher than the cereal level.
Step 6
Cover the pots with lids and place them in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Leave the pots in the oven until the cereal has absorbed all the water and boiled well. This will take about 1.5 hours.
Step 7
Stir the porridge in a pot from time to time. This will help to avoid the formation of a dried crust on the top and sides.
Step 8
Remove the pots with ready-made buckwheat porridge from the oven. Place them on a wooden surface. Open the lid carefully, taking care not to burn yourself with the steam. Place the porridge on a plate and serve hot.
Bon Appetit!
