  • - 4 chicken eggs;

  • - 3 glasses of flour;
  • - 3 tablespoons of natural honey;

  • - 1 glass of sour cream twenty percent fat;

  • - a pinch of salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Break three eggs into an enamel bowl or cup, add a glass of sugar and beat with a blender or mixer. Add half a packet of softened butter, salt, honey, vinegar slaked soda to the egg-sugar mixture and beat again.

Place the bowl in a water bath for about 5-7 minutes. Stir the contents of the bowl constantly.

Step 3

Remove the bowl from the steam bath, the mixture should become fluffy and lighter. Let stand for two minutes and add flour, stirring constantly.

Divide the resulting dough into six to seven equal parts, form round cakes and roll out with a rolling pin. Cut out circles of the desired diameter from the rolled dough.

Place the cakes in a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the cakes in an oven preheated to one hundred and eighty degrees for five minutes. Bake the scraps left over from the cakes too, they will be needed to sprinkle the cake.

Prepare a cream to lubricate the cakes. Break one egg into a bowl, add half a glass of sugar. Place the bowl in a water bath and beat well with a mixer or blender. Remove the mixture from the water bath, let cool for two minutes, add half a packet of softened butter, sour cream and beat again for about five minutes until thickened. The cream is ready.

Prepare crumbs for sprinkling the cake. To do this, crush the baked cooled dough scraps with a blender.

Spread the cakes well with the finished cream, not forgetting about the sides. Place the cakes on top of each other to form a cake. Sprinkle the top crust with cream and sprinkle the prepared crumbs over the edges of the cake. If desired, the “Medovik” cake can be decorated in any available way: draw patterns, flowers on the cake with cream, crumbs, grated chocolate or nuts.
