It is necessary

  • - 6 medium potatoes;
  • - 400 g of cottage cheese;
  • - 100 g of butter;
  • - salt;
  • - 3 egg yolks;
  • - 125 ml cream;
  • - green onions;
  • - vegetable oil.

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the potatoes and, without peeling them, boil until tender. Once the potatoes are cooked, let them cool.

Step 2

Now you can peel the already boiled potatoes and cut them into slices. The thickness of each of them should be approximately 0.5 cm.

Step 3

Mash the curd with a fork. The butter should be grated and added to the curd mass. Keep in mind that if you chose fatty cottage cheese, then in this case, butter is not required. Curd cheese can be preferred.

Step 4

If you nevertheless added butter to the cottage cheese, then the resulting mass should be thoroughly grinded.

Step 5

Let's proceed directly to baking. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and lay out a layer of potatoes. Salt it and lay out a layer of curd. Put the potatoes on the cottage cheese again and salt it. Then again cottage cheese and again potatoes. Remember: the first and last layers are necessarily potatoes. Each layer of potatoes must be salted.

Step 6

Now combine the egg yolks with the cream and salt. If there is no cream, then take milk with sour cream. Pour this mass over the potatoes with cottage cheese.

Step 7

All this must be baked in the oven at a temperature of 180-200 degrees until the mass acquires a golden color.

Step 8

The dish can be served to the table, pre-garnished with chopped green onions.
