Potato bread has been around for a long time. It was prepared by the Russian people in difficult times - during the war. Of course, since then, its recipe has changed in some way, but it still retained its airiness and wonderful salty taste.
It is necessary
- - potatoes - 700 g;
- - flour - 700 g;
- - potato water - 120 ml;
- - fresh yeast - 25 g;
- - vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
- - salt - 4 teaspoons with a slide;
- - Bay leaf;
- - thyme;
- - rosemary;
- - black pepper.

Step 1
Remove the peel from the potatoes, then cut each into 4 wedges. Place vegetables in a suitable sized saucepan and cover with water. Then add lavrushka leaf, thyme, peppercorns, rosemary and one teaspoon of salt there. Put the mass on the fire and cook until the potatoes are fully cooked.
Step 2
Drain the boiled potatoes. Set aside 120 milliliters of this water. Let the vegetable cool slightly, then chop it with a potato grinder until puree.
Step 3

Step 4
After the time has elapsed, mix the prepared dough with the potato mass. Mix everything until smooth. Then add sunflower oil and wheat flour there. Introduce the last ingredient gradually, that is, in several steps. Stir the resulting mixture for one quarter of an hour.
Step 5
The resulting sticky dough, covered with a towel, place in a warm place and do not touch for one hour.
Step 6
After a predetermined amount of time has passed, divide the risen dough into 2 equal-sized pieces and shape each into a bread shape. After placing on a baking tray, dusted with flour, leave the future potato bread warm for about 2 hours.
Step 7
Bake potato bread in a steam oven at 250 degrees for 15 minutes. Then reduce the heat in the oven and cook the baked goods for half an hour. After 30 minutes, cover the bread with cling foil and bake for another 30-40 minutes.
Step 8
Allow baked goods to cool sufficiently. The potato bread is ready!
